When I saw the Hindi version of the Trivago ad for the first time, it made a mark. It wasn’t the Ad so much that made a mark, but the main character of the Ad. He wasn’t a usual good looking model or hero or a brand ambassador from Bollywood. He wasn’t someone who would charge Crores to the brand for a couple of days a year. I don’t know if a regular brand ambassador would have had the same impact as Abhinav Kumar who works at trivago The Ad stood out for me due to the choice of the lead. In stood out in the clutter of Bollywood stars. Advertising is all about creating and capturing mind space. This one certainly did for me !
